Tim Lin, BSc, MScPT
Registered Physiotherapist
Tim received his Master of Physical Therapy Degree in 2017 from Queen’s University after completing his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Waterloo in 2011. After graduation, Tim has practiced extensively in orthopaedic physiotherapy.
As a physiotherapist, Tim conducts detailed assessments and uses which serves as a basis for formulating comprehensive treatment plans for his patients. Tim utilizes a variety of evidence-based techniques including manual therapy, acupuncture/dry needling, exercise prescription, taping, and electrophysical modalities along with active patient participation and education to achieve maximal recovery outcomes for his patients. As an expert in health and rehabilitation, Tim truly believes in empowering his patients in their own healing journey.
Tim strives to stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research evidence. He has a strong interest in orthopaedics, vestibular, and temporomandibular (TMJ) conditions. He has taken courses in traditional Chinese acupuncture, intramuscular stimulation (IMS) or trigger point dry needling, Mulligans Mobilization with Movement, Functional Range Release, functional strength and conditioning, Kinetic Link Training (KLT), vestibular rehabilitation, and temporomandibular disorders. He has plans to undertake training for concussion rehabilitation.
In his spare time, Tim is an avid billiards player, and enjoys hiking, cycling, and playing Ultimate Frisbee with his friends and family.
