Amanda Dawson

Amanda Dawson, HBSc, MScPT

Registered Physiotherapist

Amanda is a Registered Physiotherapist with a special interest in Pelvic Health, Vestibular Rehabilitation, and Running & Gait Analysis. She obtained her Masters of Physical Therapy at Queens University after completing her Bachelors of Science with Honours in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph. She grew up involved in competitive athletics, including gymnastics, track and field and basketball, and draws on the experiences of participating in and coaching high level sports with her patients.

Amanda believes that knowledge is power and is focused on empowering patients with information and understanding throughout their pregnancy, labour, and post partum return to activity. She has many years of experience with a wide range of pelvic, neurological and orthopaedic conditions and uses a holistic assessment and treatment style to instil confidence in patients and their abilities.

Amanda has completed training in acupuncture and dry needling, manual therapy, functional range conditioning, advanced care in running and shoe prescription, pregnancy and postpartum care, c-section recovery, labour and delivery, pelvic organ prolapse, as well as vestibular rehabilitation.
